Previously Senior Vice President of Research and Delivery at IOActive, where he built and led the Seattle hardware hacking lab and oversaw the team behind the widely reported Jeep hacking project, along with a record-setting 14 BlackHat and DEF CON presentations in a single year, the most ever by a single firm.

Co-founder and CTO
Security engineer and software developer with a background in computer science. Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Anvil Secure for a decade, leading the firm’s research and internal development of processes, methodologies, and tools. Published novel tooling and research, helped establish processes for some of the biggest pentest programs in the world for several hyperscalers, and was client tech lead on Google’s large-scale C++ to Rust migration. Released pqcscan, the first tool of its kind purpose-built for PQC issues. Before Anvil, spent more than six years at IOActive across Seattle and London.
