Where Cipherscan is headed

What's live today, what's planned, and what's still under consideration. We keep this distinction clear because it matters to your own planning. Free public endpoint scanning, agentless private network scanning, and the reporting dashboard are available now; SSH scanning, policy creation, and network traffic analysis are planned next, with cryptographic inventory management and cloud asset scanning still under consideration.

Try Cipherscan

Available now

Free public endpoint scanning
Check any internet-facing endpoint’s TLS handshake for post-quantum readiness, free and with no signup required.
Scan private networks, agentless
Run the Cipherscan CLI against internal infrastructure that isn’t publicly reachable, without installing an agent.
Reporting dashboard
See host status and an overall readiness percentage in one place, described on the Reporting and Dashboard page.
Standard policies applied
Every scan is checked against Cipherscan’s standard post-quantum policy set out of the box.

Planned

Policy creation
Define policies such as hybrid cryptography, PQC-only, or PQC fallback. Align them with frameworks such as NIST and NIS 2.
Unlimited retention
Retain scan data and reports indefinitely to track PQC compliance over time.
Multi-organization access
Onboard the same user to multiple organizations, so consultants can manage several clients from a single dashboard.
SSH scanning
Extend Cipherscan’s cryptographic discovery to SSH services, alongside the TLS scanning available today.
Network traffic analysis
Passively analyze network traffic to discover cryptographic usage beyond what active scanning can reach.

Under consideration

Cryptographic inventory management
A structured, ongoing inventory of the cryptographic algorithms and libraries in use across your environment.
Cloud asset scanning
Discover and assess cryptographic posture across cloud-native assets and services.
